Plant’s Sale Good News For Area The sale of the former United Design plant in
Noble to a manufacturer of heavy equipment is good news for Noble and
southern Cleveland County. The empty plant building will soon come alive with

Norman Merchants Ask the average consumer what they perceive as
being the one submarket in the Oklahoma City area having the lowest amount of
vacant shopping center space, their answer would most likely be Edmond or far
north Oklahoma City. Surprisingly, both answer are incorrect. While those
areas do boast some of the highest per capita incomes, the submarket with

College Of Geoscience Awarded $75,000 NASA Education Grant The OU College of Geoscience will receive a $75,000 grant from the
National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to support the nation’s

interdisciplinary experiences in scientific, engineering and technical

story City Development Group Hears Positive News At Economic
Summit Building
up Norman is expected on all fronts this year, including city street
improvements, school and hospital additions, and construction of homes and
businesses. At the fourth annual conference of the “Sooner Centurions” last
week officials laid out plans for the year and beyond with emphasis on growth
and capital expansion. The
Centurions, a group of 100 Norman leaders organized by the Norman Chamber of
Commerce, provides about $100,000 a year to supplement the $300,000 annual

for ATSC The Norman Economic
Development Coalition is pleased to welcome our newest tenants to the
Emerging Technology Entrepreneurial Center. Atmospheric Technology Services (ATSC) moved its offices
to Norman in January. Originally located in Tulsa, ATSC came to Norman to be
