OCAST proposal workshops most attended to date

The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Phase 1 development workshops held Aug. 10 and Aug. 11 at the University of Oklahoma set a record number of attendees.

The Norman Economic Development Coalition and the University of Oklahoma Office of Technology sponsored the workshop.

“Most of the attendees were from the Norman area and that shows the local level of interest in new business development,” Don Wood, executive director of the Norman Economic Development Coalition, stated.

The workshop covered how to develop objectives, work plans, a budget and a comprehensive abstract.

Vicke Adams and Cheryl Wick were the presenters.
